Tips for Muscle Care


Use ice and apply it to the affected area for 20 minutes at a time throughout the day. Hold the ice off at least as long as keep on top of the ice. Ice causes vessels to tighten. Keep it for too long could kill the part of the tissue region. People with heart disease and diabetes should consult with your doctor first, because they are more prone to tissue damage.

Putting bandage on the affected area is good. Remember not to wrap too tightly. Recording on the affected area is too tight can cause swelling in the area below.

If you have an injury to your foot or leg, it is good advice to put them up. Raising the injured body part above your heart prevents blood from a combination of up to cause swelling.
